My favourite guitar teacher!

James has quickly become my favourite educator. He has a very clear and concise style, but never misses the important details. His lesson structure is on point, his playing is just stunning, and I've never had this much fun learning in 30 years of playing. I really couldn't recommend him enough. My only complaint is there aren't enough courses from him! More James please! Thanks James!

Just perfect level of detail - and never boring

I find James' teaching never boring, and never skipping details, while keeping it moving. He really get the concepts across.

I love this guy!

I just completed my first course by James Hogan; Essentials: Soul Rhythm Guitar This course is really phantastic, and what I like especially about it, is, that James Hogan plays it like he means it. His tutoring is very well structured, diversified in styles, easy to follow but instructive at the same time. I found James Hogan a really good teacher, sympathetic and charismatic. You'd have to be a zombie to not be carried away by his expressive way of playing, and to not want to join in on the spot. Definitely added James Hogan to my favorite artists on TrueFire.

something different...

One of the good things about James Hogans lessons are that there is going to be something different in the video. He tries to pursue something different than just another learning the 5 pentatonic box patterns. This is a good thing. Sometimes the best thing that you can do is to learn something different.
