Ernie Jackson's training has been classical to rock to r&b to jazz, all of which has been strictly guitar. He is the author of The Music of Justin Holland. Justin Holland was the first African-American classical guitarist to devote his life to the study of classical guitar. He lived during the 1800’s. Ernie is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Musicology through Hunter College and the Graduate Center in NYC and believes this degree will allow him to give hip-hop further depth in its history and musicology.
