Been playing guitar for a while but am new to finger style where your thumb does something different to the rest of your hand and I thought it had defeated me. How can something seemingly so simple be so hard? following David was the break through especially making you aware at what point to pinch both strings and when not to. All really tasty phrases as well.

Excellent Instructor

I am currently attempting David’s Blues Fingerstyle course and so far it has been excellent! I’ve learned two of the songs from it and he has a way of teaching very complex songs in a simplistic manner. Once I finish this course, I will most definitely be searching for more of his!

Magnificent guitarist and instructor

He's an amazing guitarist. The technique and creativity he has makes him a guitarist from whom you can learn many things. David Hamburger has a knowledge and command of the guitar that inspires you to want to learn more and more. As a teacher he is very good because his lessons and concepts are understandable and direct, besides the content you can learn is very useful. A highly recommended educator.

Lessons highly recommended

David is a good instructor, he has a confidence to transmit every song he plays or teaches. He has a good technique and knowledge of the Blues. Each lesson makes you learn new techniques and rhythms that are good. In addition to that David has good fingerpicking skills on guitar, highly recommend this educator. His lessons have a good balance of learning and length, because they don't end up being too long. His videos are fun to watch, every phrase he puts on the guitar produces a good combination.

A great teacher

David is really a great teacher. His courses are very well organized, he explains and demonstrates very well, and I like the fact that he relates a lot of the licks to scale degrees. That really helps me lock them in the memory bank for future use!
