Tweepstakes Results
After more than a week of voting, our Tweepstakes poll has ended and our winner, as determined by the TrueFire community, is Max Smith (@tweet_maxsmith). It turned out to be a blowout, with Max receiving nearly 40% of the vote, thanks to a great deal of support from members and supporters of the U.S. Army. For the past 20+ years, Max has been a U.S. Army Musician dedicated to entertaining and supporting Soldiers around the world, their families and the American people, and it seems karma has come back and rewarded Max with a shiny new Pete Anderson Signature Reverend guitar. Well deserved, indeed! We asked Max a few questions about his victory and all the support he received during the Tweepstakes:
1. Congratulations! What do you plan to do with the beautiful new Pete Anderson Signature Reverend guitar?
“I’ll continue to serve and entertain the Soldiers of the U.S. Army, their Families and the public through music.”
2. Is there anything you would like to say to the people that voted for you?
“First, I’d like to thank my sweet wife, Lee Anna, for all the efforts she made for me this week! I’m am amazed and humbled by the wide support that family, friends, coworkers and complete strangers (now friends) unselfishly offered me during this week’s voting.”
3. Any other remarks?
“Truefire is an incredible place to learn guitar at all levels – I own several of the CD video guitar lessons and I subscribe to a monthly Student Plan. I am using the “Bass Basics” course to teach a brand new bass player from scratch and my daughter got great results from the “Learn Guitar in 21 Days” course. It’s truly the best place for anyone to learn to play.”
In closing, we want to thank everyone who participated in our Tweepstakes. This contest was a lot of fun and we appreciate everyone’s thoughts, suggestions, and ideas. We truly enjoy hearing from our community and hope you will continue to help us shape TrueFire into the ultimate destination for guitar education and guitar lessons. Ignited we stand!
