My top four pedals from my ensemble would be (in order of importance to me):

1. BBE Sonic Stomp
Ya know how you get the perfect tone out of your amp at "living-room" level and then get to the gig, crank it up and it sounds flat? That's because the human ear perceives frequencies differently at different volume levels. The sonic stomp lets you compensate for that quickly and easily with just two knobs.

2. Modded Boss Compressor
Can't remember what I had it modded with off the top of my head, but OMG!! I use this almost all the time.

3. Vox Wah
I'm a Wah bigot. I've had boutique whas that cost twice as much as the Vox and almost sound as good as the Vox. (BTW – when you put together your list of accessories, I nominate Stompin' Ground's wah mount; simple and elegant solution to the problems of mounting the traditional wah to a pedal board).

4) Analogman King of Tone Overdrive
I waited a *LONG* time for this pedal. It was worth the wait.

How about a string winder/cutter? Metronome, music stand, etc.
Those seems a bit more important than some effects box.
